Flood Preparation

It's indescribable the devastation shown in these photos. I knew tornadoes could be horrid, but I don't think I ever realized exactly what a tornado can do...there is NOTHING left of this town. It's been obliterated.

Mind boggling, isn't it? Every tree is bare of leaves and all but the sturdiest branches; some buildings have been wiped out right down to the foundation; vehicles on their sides; what looks like a downed water tower, and every building heavily damaged. I hope to never experience a tornado first hand.

The weather here can be fairly extreme, but that's just pure heat - thankfully we get nothing that even remotely compares with that. I'm more surprised that only 8 (last figure I heard) were killed looking at that, they must have been the only people in town that day.

Damn! Wiped everything.......what if one day tornadoes rise all over the world? That'd be something.

How sad - especially for the residents, I can't imagine ones life changing so quickly
