Affordable, quality rangefinder

One can buy a very nice, used Contax G-1 or G-2 and a couple of lenses for not too much money. I still use my G-1 because it has auto-focus and my eyes no longer will allow manual focusing. The quality of the lenses is excellent and they are very sharp.

If you want real low cost the Argus C-3 is hard to beat. I have two, one of them takes really sharp pictures, and forgetting to advance film has produced some pretty neat shots.

The Argus C-3 is called "The Brick" for good reason. Yeah it is easy to come by (Have one my self) and it does get good sharp photos and can provide some neat effects, but one has to get used to holding it. If you are too used to the rounded bodies of cameras, the C-3 may not be the best option.
