After the Storm

We had some big thunderstorms roll through. I found this little fellow drying out afterwords.
Not too sure if they hold your attention well enough.

They are a bit on the dark side, I'm afraid. Plus I would think that the colour of the blossom (yellow) would have caught our attention more than the white in your b+w version does. Of the three here, I like the third best, that still keeps my attention for the longest time.

The black background makes the black insect blend into it too much.... Other than that I love the pictures! Great job!

I agree, it's difficult to see the insect in the first two pics. The third one is nice though.

Most everything I post is flat... only everyonce in a while I actually might post something good.... haha

I'm my own worst critic. I've been known to stomp on my own work pretty good.
Black on black is something I've been screwing around with, and damn it can be hard to get one to look right.

I like this, but in color, like said, it would be nice with the color of the flower. The first one is best, it's the most interesting.

In general I greatly prefer black and white. I usually compose expecting to turn all my images monochrome.
