Air Force memorial

This is a relatively new "monument" or memorial, I think it was finished a month or two ago. It's very impressive but simple, certainly worth a visit if you are around the Pentagon. My 17-40 was barely wide enough, but i'll go back when i get a wider lens. Hope you guys like these

Wow, this IS an impressive monument, and you say it is near Pantegon? Then it definitely was not there in April.

I think you already framed it quite quite well here, despite your finding that not even the 17-40mm could do justice.

Many photos and no numbers makes saying "I like # so-and-so best" here, but I think I like the second one of this series really much. That one apparently also shows in its b&w version, which I like, too, AND I like a similar version of it in the last but one.

Nice series, it's the first time I see this monument and I like what you've captured. overall I like 10's sepia treatment and 11's composition. Though I find the jet trail distracting in some of the pictures.

Impressive monument, and also impressive photos, as much those of black and white, as those of color.
