was asked to shoot the cover for a local grunge band's album. :shock:

The pic is perfect for what it was needed for Hopefully, the band will sell enough albums to afford a good dental plan. :taped sh:

Effective shot!!! It is interesting how the frame may take on a different meaning when you are holding the jewel case in your hand.

Keep in mind that the incomparable "King Crimson" had the almost exact cover for their debut album "In the Court of the Crimson King" It was an illustration. The album came out in 1972 or there abouts so the details are a little foggy. If you are not familiar with it check it out.
 
King crimson included the nose and the eyes as well. The subject on the cover looked in fear as well, which i'm guessing is not the emotion this shot had in mind.

But for a grunge band or even an old progressive rock band this would be a great picture.
