v.nice pick.. really do like it

the people all out of focus is really nice effect

It combines a couple of very pleasing elements such as a shallow DOF (focus on the front only), converging lines leading towards a vanishing point (which is a tad too much in the middle of this frame for my own liking), a nicely dramatic sky (unfortunately blurred a little by the shallow DOF), so yes, there is quite a fair bit of things there that help make this photo your favourite. I understand.
