Aluminum Flag

I always liked this aluminum bench that was made by a local artist but just yesterday thought to take a shot of it, what do you guys think? It unfortunatly was a cold and gloomy day I was thinking of taking a shot of the entire bench but chose just the flag part..

I can imagine this is quite a difficult subject to capture!

The picture lacks interest though. Maybe try a more dynamic angle or more open crop?

Is the metal coloured or anodised? If so maybe try a red filter to bring out more contrast too?
