Am I crazy?!!

Ok, first off........is it possible that Photobucket it messing w/ my colors on photos? I cant put my finger on it but something just seems not right after I post from photobucket. Anyone else see any issues?

Second......For some reason I like this next shot and I guess I m just looking to see if other poeple find it interesting or if I m just crazy. My husband thinks I m crazy....lol So you can answer your crazy or not crazy...lol

It can also be when you make them wonder what it is they are seeing. Which is the case with this photo. I like it.

websites like photobucket etc do compress your pictures therefore resulting in poor colors of the shots to come out.

Doorway, yes. No problem there. What is hard to figure out, still haven't btw, is the gray part. Is it part of the doorway or the wall seen through the doorway?

That said, I don't want to know. The mystery is part of what makes this image interesting to me.

yea, photobucket is one of the worst photo hosting sites.. they really ruin your photos.. flickr is a little better.. a free account allows you to host 200 images (at least it use to)

as for the photo.. i can totally see why choudhrysaab said it looks like an optical illusion.. its the back wall.. it throws it off..

the bonus with flickr is, its even easier, because you can download programs for your computer, where you can upload directly to flickr from...

so yes, its as easy, and easier.. the cool thing about flickr is, its a whole community, you can join groups, and post comments and questions, and all that fun stuff..

I stopped using Photobucket as my primary image hosting service a long time ago. Not only do they compress/modify the image after you upload it, you'll often find they randomly delete your pictures. I've had pictures deleted that I have no idea why they were deleted. I don't have pornography in my album and I don't have images I didn't take myself (copyright violations) but inevitably I'll log in and a picture that's been there for years will be deleted and replaced with a graphic like this:

Try SmugMug, they don't compress or modify your images at all (configurable). What you see on your screen is what you'll see after you upload it to SmugMug. I've found odd things about Flickr as well which prevents me from using them as a primary host too.

Thanks guys.......I ve only been shooting for 3 months w/ a real cam. (not a PS) so it been a lot of learning!!! I ll look at the sites you suggested!
