    Went to Amsterdam Zoo again last saturday. Had a blast once again and took some pics. The weather was a bit dark, so i had to shoot with an high ISO, which meant noise, which meant alot of post process. In some pics you can really see it, but i liked it that way better then the noise.

    You can't have a bird thread without a Barn Owl if you ask me.

    #1 has great detail, never knew they had colouring like that

    I like #8 the best! What an awesome portrait of this brightly colored bird!

    The parrot is called Max, cute bird. After the birds of prey demo they get this guy out and everybody can get close too him and take pics :)
    The coloring in #1 surprised me too, he looks way cooler now :)
    And i didnt take alot of pics at the demo, cause i couldnt get a good shutterspeed. But luckely the barn owl is white, so that helped. Thats why most of the time you will see barn owls in bird threads :)
