I need an "archway" photo for something. I think that I am going to use this one but I'm scared that it might be too dark?

i would think it's only dark where it's meant to be dark, above the lights, but still showing the archway, and probably showing what it's meant to show, the passageway and where it's leading, i would'nt be afraid to use it, that is my view, nice shot.

mmm... if the archs are to be the point, then it's too dark. I would say that it depends on where you want to focus: if on the lights, then ok, but if on the archs, then dark.

This is the Union Station - I compared it with JonMikal's photo because I thought "Hey, this looks like JonMikal's latest contribution, and it is what I thought it was!

    Compare http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18754

Maybe you can learn? (For interestingly enough, JonMikal chose the horizontal approach to this same photo).
