    im not sure if i like this, i was going to make an hdr shot of this, and this was the underexposed one. i figured it looked pretty good anyway so i didnt bother with making it hdr.

    It's nice - the amount of black on the bottom doesn't really add anything though, I think you'd do better cropping the black by 2/3 to 3/4 and putting the focus on the sky.

    yeah that edit's heaps better,
    the reason for all the black at the bottom is because i wanted there to be all the grass in the shot for when i was going to make it into hdr.

    I think it looks good OP. Very relaxing to look at, although HDR would really make that picture pop. I say go for it.

    I like the edit, but leave the grass in silhouette. Or HDR, or do whatever :) Its nice.

    I quite like the original, perhaps a small crop being a good idea. The underexposed bottom half helps frame the picture IMO.
