WSU Quarterback senior quarterback Gary Rogers was injured tonight and taken off the field by ambulance. I covered the game and not only saw something remarkable, I also got to photograph it. The coach for Portland State prompted both teams, the entire bench on the field behind the ambulance. He had them take a knee the whole time medics tended to Rogers. After a long delay of game he was taken to Pullman Memorial Hospital. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iDzPZbsK2upL9ZEk05yh...

Those are reamarkable shots. What are you shooting with? Camera and Lense?

    I hope Gary is ok.

Good set of images along with a good story. I hope Gary is ok, and I hope the guy who did that to him can learn to live with what he did. At this level they know better than helmet to helmet contact.

Hank, I use 2 D300s, one with a Tokina 80-400 and the other with a Nikon 300 f4. Sometimes I use the Nikon 80-200 f2.8. It depends on light and how close I can get to the field.

Thanks everyone for all the replies.
