Another angle of the cathedral (HDR)

Again, just getting started trying HDR...here's another angle.

This is a better angle than your first one, in my opinion. The cathedral seems more monstrous now. I would maybe increase the contrast a little bit, it could raise the tension in the photo.
 
Good shot, I like it.
And imo a good candidate for an HDR.

If you feel like it it might be worth cloning out the other building on the right hand side, and the tree on the left hand side.

Was it done with a tripod? Maybe it's the wind blowing or something but at the very edges of the building it looks blurry?
 
Is it just me, or is there a lot of barrel distortion or whatever its called? Looks like the perspective is all screwy on the building. As for the colors and the picture in general I think it looks great. I agree about trying to clone out the building on the right. Or even mask it off and use curves to maybe lighten it up or something so that it doesn't compete with your subject as much.
