Has anyone ever used a free, online calibration system before??? I'm too chicken to try one out...would rather has some "tried and true" feedback first!!! ;)

Anyone???

Thanks in advance! :hug::

Are you talking about monitor calibration?

To do it properly, you need a hardware device to read the output. Software only (including online) would most likely rely on you to eyeball it, which isn't going to be accurate enough.

I agree with Big Mike. I tried to calibrate using Adobe Gamma and a few other online sources before I gave up and bought a Spyder 3 Pro a few months ago. It made a huge difference. Definitely worth the investment.

Oh crap. :crazy:

I mean...thanks guys!!! :hug::

Darnnit all...how much is that going to put me...I mean, my husband out??? :bigangel:

I believe you can get the ColorVision Spyder with the Express software for around $100.

i bought spyder2 express yesterday. i was trying to eyeball it using some free software & gave myself a migraine. It was $65 on amazon.
