Here are a few shots I liked. Crit is always appreciated.
and 4 for fun:
looks good, good, balanced flash exposure.
Beautiful sky, nice lighting in the first one! Wow!
I love the idea of #4, but the bright background gives it a strange lack of depth. What's the brightness between them?
The perspective of the dock and the flying geese make me think of "journey" when I look at #2. Nice idea.
I put a flash on a stand in the bushes, haha.
lol...they kind of look like amputees in the 4th. But, still a fun shot. I agree with Wildmaven about the flash in that one as well. It doesn't work for me.
The others are really nice as well. I think I like #2 the best. Were those birds flying in that one or did you add it in from another frame? Either way it looks great It has a really nice composition. I think #3 might look really nice if you brightened it up just a tad.
#1 is gorgeous, but I also think the lower portion could use some brightening up.
I think your lighting is superb in all of these. Really enjoy your style.
Thanks! And crit noted. And the birds were actually just timed, not added. We heard them taking off so I just told them to sit still and waited til they were in-frame.
Beautiful light and camera work on these. I love the idea of putting the light in the bushes on the 4th frame.
Love & Bass
Love the first 3, the 4th is a fun shot, as mentioned though, kind of makes him look like an amputee.
Other than the things already mentioned, nice balance with ambiant/flash. Good comp.
i think 1 and 2 are gorgeous. its nice to have good-looking ppl to photograph as well. i agree with the crits on 3 and 4, but overall nice work.
Thanks yo! And yeah, agreed about 3 & 4.
