Viera Wetlands, Florida.....
all very nice, not really one that jumps out at me though
you should number the pictures though......it's makes it easier to comment
NIce pics!! I like the first one the most.
Some of them seem a bit blown out on my monitor though.
If you go back in and put numbers on these I would comment. I just can't remember the names of the birds, and I don't want to count ... it's been a long day
They all looke nice. Some are a little blown, but nothing that can't be fixed in pp.
Appreciate the comments..always trying new things. Being a Newbie...what do you mean blown out?
Thanks for the feedback.
blown out = over exposed
too open an aperture
too long shutter time
too high ISO
or combination of all three
You're doing pretty great for a newbie, particularly capturing birds in flight.
#1 of the flycatcher is the best shot (IMO), you've got some nice feather detail around the head, and the b&w is a nice choice. Compare that with the bottom of the crane's neck in #5 for an example of where it's starting to get a bit blown out with a bit of glare from on the feathers (I could be off on this, so someone correct me if I am - got up early and my brain's melting).
btw - is that a heron or a bittern chick in #7?
Separate names with a comma.
