I like it.. I would crop off a little more of the left so he isn't so centered...

You did however cut off his paw.

IMO, I would try cropping it to a 4x5 format, so that the dog head is top center and tail is in the top left corner, on the bottom about haft way up the legs, this will cut out a lot of light in the top left and hide missing front paw
