Another newbie

My name is Michael, and I live in the northern part of Virginia.

I've been shooting pictures for quite a few years, but I hesitate to call myself a "photographer". I am pretty much a newbie, starting to learn more about composition, mechanics, and technical issues.

I just purchased a Nikon D5000/18-55/55-200, and am having a blast!
I joined to learn, so fire away!
