another photo critique [seagull!]

it was hard to focus in time but i think i got it ok. i *think* i had my polarizer on, but i'm not sure

A really nice image, however unfortunately, the light was not your friend. This is one of those cases where sidelight just doesn't work. Ideally, you would have wanted him flying toward the sun for a more even illumination on both sides. I suspect that some of this can improved by adjustments in post however.

A lovely shot in my opinion but a tad on the bright side but nothing you cannot fix in ps..I darkened the sky off in levels and masked the bird off in layers and bought back the detail..Just has the little bit of oomph it needs now!

ooh really? i kinda liked the side lighting thing, but i guess you're right.
