    I am not surprised to hear that your day at Louvre turned out into a "sensory overload day" ... that can happen easily in a place like that, can't it?

    But I still cannot get enough of your photos from there! This one is so precious. DOF and focus are so good. The noise doesn't do it any harm and I love the black and white here.

    Wow, the museum lights bring out the textures so well, and so do you here in your photo ... could you handhold your camera so steadily? Good!

    That second one is a nice shot...

    But that first one is haunting. I love it!

    I like what B&W does with these statues. I will have to try some of this as well.

    nice stuff remi....love the graininess in the first and the contrast and compo of the second :)

    Lafoto: I got it steady shot with a combination of propping my elbows againts the base of the display, high ISO and a little pchop sharpening.

    Wow these are amazing! I love the BW an the grain in the first one just adds to the picture!
    Can't wait to go to the louvre again :)
