Another weekend without the sun

    Second or third weekend in a row here with out the sun, regardless I went out for a little while today and was able to come up with these. Tried to use LR to counter the flatness. Without the sun, Im useless!!

    Wish I could show you the blue 70 degree Arizona sun, but I don't want to make you cry.

    Not a problem, it's great time to use some flash! Just think, you get a measure of control of the light that way.

    And, Photoshop can do things Lightroom can't.

    Even without the sun those are still good pictures. I like the last shot where you got the two rusted out crap buckets. Nicely done.

    nice try!

    I think you can perfect it by revealing more the sky without sun.

    I was going to mention yesterday, but forgot. You have dust on your sensor. If you make an image of a solid color wall or piece of paper at a small aperture like f/22 any significant dust on your sensor will show up as spots. They are easiest to see in the sky in an image like below.

    Wow, KmH! Thats the kind of CC I like to see. Im going to do that with my camera as well. I love the Barn in #2. Great subject, I dont think ive ever seen a stone barn like that!
