    I see some of you are into Heron's - this is a Great Blue Heron I have enjoyed sharing with others ...

    ..... if this gets a bunch of attention ....

    I'll share a bitter sweet story about this lil buzzard with ya' .....

    I agree! It's too busy!

    Unfortunately - he wouldn't listen when I told him to move left .... :scratch:

    Seriously; there were too many issue's to overcome....

    that was part of a controlled setting for a live capture attempt.

    the bird looks a bit overexposed to me. or perhaps it just doesn't have enough pop, especially with the powerful background colors etc.

    This bird's colors in real life are fairly muddy.
    It's not one with vibrant colors. Unfortunately ...

    You will see I moved your post over to our Landscape and Nature Forum since it does not quite meet the guidelines for our Photo Critique forum in so far as you are not asking for any specific critique.

    You will find people will openly critique your photos in the galleries, too, if there is something in them that needs to be pointed out so you can do better the next time.
