When sunset time comes and nothing happens, turn yourself around 180 degrees. Sometimes the earth's shadow is a little more interesting.

Those colors perplex me completely....you'd say it was done in photoshop but I am sure it isn't.....it's also well exposed...just enough texture and colors to the rock. Wow.
 
Wow,.. nice. I know what you mean. There are a few white barns to the east of my house and in the afternoon sometimes the sun turns them a very nice shade of red-orange. Very cool. However, did you mean to cut your picture in half with the line of rocks? Just a thought.

The rocks were originally in the lower third with the full moon in the upper third but I couldn't expose properly for the sky and the moon so the whole top third of the original got cropped. This was the only one that got the colors though as the light changes so fast when you're looking east at dusk.
