    I know this isnt the best photograph of the moon but i just wanted to know if it was any good for a Nikkor 55-200mm lens;)

    its nice to actually see last nights giant moon! i could tell it was bright but the could were covering it...... pic looks good to me, nice detail and natural color

    Crop it so the Moon is not dead center, and it will have a bit more impact.

    That and it's upside down. Tycho should be in the Moons southern hemisphere. How did that happen? Was the image made through a reflecting telescope? ;)

    Hi there, if you want quality of the photo to be check especially related to lens and camera, it will be better if you post full size photo :)

    The forum has guidelines limiting the size of posted images.

    If an OP wanted to refer us to a full size image, it would need to be a link.

    Yeah I live in Australia (Southern Hemisphere) so i see it differently. I just wanted to know i if it was any good for the lens i was using.

    For a 55-200mm lens, it looks pretty good to me.
