Any one can help here.. Questions about photography

I have some questions here and I need someone to help me solve them.. they are part of a homework or something any ways, here they are:

1. how much faster is ISO 400 speed film than ISO 100 speed film?
a. 1 stop
b. 1/2 of a stop
c. 2 stops

2. List the causes for having a gritty residue on your film.
(about this one i have no idea)

3. If i have a meter reading that tells me to set my camera at 1/250th of a second at f/11 and I add #8 yellow filter. What should i change my exposure settings to.

How are you going to learn if someone else gives you the answer. Where is the fun in that? Why do you think some one is just going to give you the answers. Are you interested in learning photography?

1. d. not at all if you don't develop it properly.
2. you sneezed while developing the film.
3. why bother you can compensate when developing.

All the real answers can be found in wikipedia.
