Hi. I just purchased this lens today. It will arrive in the mail sometime this week. It is a Tamron AF 28-105mm 1:4-5.6, with internal focus. All of the reviews I have read have been favorable. I bought it for my Sony a200. Any of you out there used this lens before?

Tamron makes a series of excellent zoom lenses that can fit on Nikon, Canon, etc. and they cost much less than Brand lenses.

I have two Tamron zoom lenses: A 28-200 and a 200-400. Your lens doesn't have quite the range I get with my 28-200, but you should be quite happy with the results it gives. I have grown to use my 28-200 more than my other lenses because it's light, focuses fast and gives me great framing potential.

In my professional opinion, Tamron has become the best "adaptive" lens manufacturer in the world.

    Enjoy!
