Looking to have 5x7 folded cards printed - 12 to a box - for resale.. anyone have a printing source for not only a quality product, but a reasonable price? Most that I've seen would charge me what I'd consider a retail price with only a small discount for quantity purchases.. I have a business that would like some of my photos on cards to sell, and I need a baseline cost before I talk to them anymore...

They'd purchase my stock for resale - any suggestions for a markup % ?

    Thanks,

    12 to a box.

Would all 12 have the same image? If not, that would be a big job packaging 12 different images in a single box.

How many are you looking to order? Hundreds? Thousands?

5x7 is a standard image size but not a standard card size. A photo print lab isn't what you're looking for.

A commercial printer will likely want the images in the CMYK color space and it sounds like what you consider quantity, wouldn't be by a commercial printer.

Appreciate the response.... Yes, each box would have the same image in it.. but I'm not stuck on either 12 to a box, (someone suggested 9 ??) **or** 5x7 as a final size.. It' s just some of the sites I've visited have that size as an option and I thought i'd make a nice card, seeing as the feature of the card is the image on the front..

The first order would probably be about 250.

For some reason, I never considered a storefront print-shop... I'll look into that! :D

    Thanks!

I don't think you're going to find sub-wholesale prices for only 50 copies. You may have to just buy a decent printer.

Agree, but each order would be a minimum of about 250+...
