Anyone in Eugene, Oregon or the U of Oregon?

So I'm trying to find out some more about colleges i'm applying to. Thing is, the brochures and student ambassadors are often wrong, or just sugar-coat the whole experience for lack of the ability to say anything negative about the place. I'm very interested in U of O based on what i've read about it, but i'm not sure about how much of it is true. I made the mistake of listening to the wrong sources when applying to high schools and now i'm stuck at a school completely different that what was advertised (for now anyway). So I was wondering if anyone's in Eugene, Oregon, or is going/went to the University of Oregon? That way I can get people's honest opinions about some concerns of mine. I figured TPF'ers are helpful and courteous enough to give me some help on this one.
