    G'day

    this is the first photo I've submitted to the critique forum.
    I just want some ideas on whether I've done the crop and PP okay.

    if anyones wants to edit a copy thats fine...

    This is a shot where turning the camera 90 degrees and shooting vertical would have made for a much nicer composition.

    are you saying this image should just be cropped to the 2 players in green and their background?

    I suppose it depends on how the guidelines for the forum are interpreted.

    According to how I understand the guidelines, this image as a finished work (IMO) could have been better done simply by turning the camera 90 degrees. Had this been done, then any cropping would not have exceeded 10% of the length of the side of the crop. That's my personal spec. It works best to my tastes and anything beyond that at least to me means - lost - not acceptable.

    Maybe I would have expanded my critique if this were posted in 'specific critique' or a gallery and advice was requested- but it is here as a finished work.

    Would have made a heckuva shot had it been done in vertical format.
