    Ahhh!
    Apple blossoms!
But where is their tiny bit of pink?
Aren't they just a wee pit pink in their centre parts?

I am still waiting for our apple trees to start blooming.
My son wants to take part in a nationwide survey on when the apple blossoms come out where in Germany, for that can help researchers to find out more about the changes in our climate... but so far he could not even report that blooming has BEGUN on our trees. It is VERY late this year!

You know, I thought they were supposed to have some pink, too. Maybe these are different kinds of apples?
These were all from a class "field trip" yesterday. Our Teaching Science prof took us out to the high school campus nearby where they have a nature trail. This was the only apple tree in the entire place, so he specifically pointed it out. I should really ask him next time I see him what kind of apples they get from there.
