Apples & Oranges

This was shot specifically as a submission for an assignment/contest by the local photo club. The goal of these assignments is to get people shooting, and it worked for me 'cause I hadn't touched my camera since Jan. 5.

This month's assignment theme was "Macro", which I rarely do so it was fun.

I really like it. I find it very intriguing, so I'd hate to ask how it was done. I think I'd prefer a square crop, capturing the entire outer ring. Nice shot.

'tis the truth. I guess this is what happens after a photography overdose, coupled with -30ºC out there

I agree with you invisible, when it gets to be -30, -40, going outside to take shots loses it's appeal.
