Let me know what you think.
Other then the sky being over exposed, I like this one the best of your pictures from Balboa so far.
Thanks, it was a very overcast day so there wasn't anything I could do about sky. I'm going back tomorrow, maybe I will have better luck.
I think this is a very good shot. The composition
is excellent which makes for an interesting photo.
It could be improved a lot if you use photoshop
to increase contrast and saturation, and sharpen.
If you choose a different time of day you may find
interesting shadows which would give the pic a
more dramatic look. If you have Photoshop you could
also put in a new sky. I have a folder I use in Photo-
shop containing nothing but sky photos. Anytime you
see an interesting sky it's good to photograph it.
It's amazing what can be done in PS. Many times I've
taken a ho-hum shot and made it into a wow! photo.

the sky is blown out and the overall photo lacks in sharpness and contrast. some more dof could be used to blur the upper part of the image that distub a little bit.
The blown out sky is an issue, yes, but what bothers me most about this image is the right side - the little shelf on the arch. I think if you had taken two steps to the left before shooting, enough of the walkway would have been visible that the shelf wouldn't be a problem. Just my opinion.
To me this picture just looks very unclear. What are you shooting with?
