    Holy cow! This would have fascinated me too! What an interesting piece of architecture! This is great! What is it? Where is it?

    How very striking! And the presence of the single person, to me, joins all the elements together so nicely. I just keep looking at those lines on the bottom...they fascinate my eye.

    Now that is composition.

    ... now we should all examine this image closely to see how the various elements are placed in this shot that make it so interesting. Pay attention to what your eyes do while looking at this image.


    I think this is a central fountain that is currently turned off.
