Ok, so I need a new "pocket" camera. I've got the film SLR and DSLR at my access, but sometimes you need a camera that you can stick in your pocket and take with you everywhere. Basically, I can't decide between the Canon A710IS/A640 and the Canon SD800IS. The SD800 has a 28mm wide end, and I think the image quality is a bit better, but; no manual controls. Meantime, the A710IS has a good telephoto, the A640 has more MP's, but just a 4x zoom. But, both A-Series cams have manual controls. Manual controls are veeery important to me, but if the SD800 would have better image quality, I could give them up. Any insights?
