13 yr old daughter... candid shot! (Minolta 7hi..still saving for something better!)
Oh yes, she sure is. Isn't she? At only 13 years of age?
My daughter is 12. She is my most favourite model (from my point of view), though more often than not she does not like me to take her picture.
How can this be candid if she's lookingright into the camera?
And what light did you use? Can't tell by the reflections in her eyes? Camera flash? It looks way more natural than that. It's beautiful light, actually. Window on the right?
Candid as in..she's sat on the sofa and I wandered in and sat next to her and said 'oy!' and she looked up! (My kids are so used to me having camera in hand they don't take any notice!) The light is simply coming in from the window behind her head..the sofa shes on backs onto a huge room long window which makes for great natural light. She's my favourite reluctant victim as she just does take nice piccies!!!
That is a great shot! you could'nt have captured her better if you had set it up,great lighting! such a gorgeous subject too! my daughter is just 10 and out of all the pictures i have taken of her there is only one thats candid! every time i point the camera at her she poses!
Excellent composition...I love using available lighting...great shot
