Asheboro, NC Zoo

Went to Asheboro Zoo, also known as the NC Zoo.

This guy was in the parking lot -

Saw the sea lions, who refused to stay still -

Little quail, I think they came out decent considering the fence -

American Roadrunner. This little guy ran right up to me in the glass and stared at me. Posed perfectly for me. -

Scarlet Ibises -

I LOVE your first shot of the seal! I was at the Ashboro zoo last weekend, but we only got halfway through before it starting raining cats and dogs on us.

road runner is the best shot but watch out when taking these shots, try not to cut off any feet or limbs.

I'm going there Saturday. I hope I can invade your thread and ask what lens most people use. I thought about just starting a new thread, might get more responses.

I love the road runner shot. I'm gonna have to find him when I got. Perfect pose!!

I'm going to have a D80, 80-200 2.8, 50 1.8, 18-135 and my SB800 flash. Take them all?

The first sea lion shot, and the roadrunner, are my faves. As matt-l said, try not to cut off the subject's feet.
