It has been a surprisingly active movie premier season with Barbie and Oppenheimer and a lot could be talked about. The technology behind Oppenheimer that interests me goes right up to the projection issues. Inside the theatres where you sit and eat popcorn, a lot is going on behind you. This video shows one aspect of the technology. It is the assembly of the movie for projection. The film arrives in multiple boxes and has be be "built" at the theatre before it is projected.
