    Hi Little Man!

We were originally into telescopes and that is what got us into the whole camera deal.

Nice shot of the moon, but you are gonna need to use some stacking software so you don't have to paint the stars in. What scope are you using?

The moon is cool but I agree that the stars look artificial (not diffuse enough, and an unnatural looking distribution of intensities I guess).

yeah, the stars are photoshop. I was trying to make it look surreal, almost like something you would see in an animation.
elsaspet, with that picture I didn't use any scope. I just had my Lumix out on a tripod to take the pic of the moon. If I used my telescope you could see the martians... haha
I upped the contrast on the moon and burned in the craters a little bit to make it look more interesting... like something you wouldn't normaly see.

Just having a little fun trying new stuff :)

Way too go Littleman, good attitude, thats what it's all about  It does look like something out of a Star Wars movie. Most of Nasa's beautiful images of space are touched up in a major way by professionals.

    Keep on experimenting.
