What no green neon?

Nope! No green. Blue is the colour of the ARAL stations.
I would have to go find a BP station, but all those have become ARAL in Germany, too...................!

So you all like the blue?
I think I like the third best, with the blue road surface and the blue flags on the left... but I don't know. What bugged me at the time was that I could not get the writing of the ARAL-sign right, which I could on the following night, or rather evening, when there was still some light in the sky.

What I have learned in the mean time is that it is important to choose the smallest of apertures (which is f8 in the case of my camera, there is no smaller) and longer exposure times. A wide open aperture helps nothing.
