attaching picture

I'm sure i'm just missing something here, but how do you attach a picture to a post? I tried last night and when i clicked on the attach picture icon on the reply it kept going to a box to enter a URL. how can i just attach a picture from windows?

Erik,

It looks like this board is not setup to attach pictures from the board itself (unless you are a paying member). You can upload the pictures to flickr, or any other photo hosting site and then place the link to the picture in the URL that you are seeing. You cant host the picture from your desktop because your desktop is not a server. This is why you have to upload the pictures somewhere, such as flickr.

Probably whoever has to pay for the extra bandwidth and storage that would use. It's no harder to host your pictures in a Flickr or Photobucket account and embed them here.
