Autumn along the tracks

Last weekend I was up doing the classic Arethusa Falls/Frankenstein cliffs loop hike, which takes you near the tracks for the Conway Scenic Railroad, so I could not help it, I had to skip up to take some photos. Here is the pick of the batch:

Wow...I want to go there. As much as I love the West Coast mountains and their amazing beauty (Sierra Nevadas and Rockys to name a few), there is definitely something to be said for the eastern ranges. I have never been but hopefully some day.

nice, I like the way the tracks lead off giving a view of the hills. I live at the bottom end of these hills and want also to get up north and see the other side. :>)
