Those are really beautiful images. How much tweaking in PS? I do consider PS to be the digital darkroom so don't get my question wrong. As one would tweak in a traditional darkroom so it is with Photoshop. But...Man they are winning shots

I'm not sure with translation, but it seems to be "Layers mixer", in monochrome.

then only levels, curves and density -/+ tool.
