I'm seeing a lot of B&W and Sepia shots that look amazing. Now I'm assuming they are done in PS from a color jpg, is this correct? Or are some taken with a setting in the camera? I've got a few pics that just don't look right that might make excellent B&W or Sepia.

Some cameras do have the ability to do this 'in-camera'...but i would never bother to do it that way.

Convert them with Photoshop (or whatever).

My D80 has the capability to do it as a shooting mode. When comparing the one from the camera and the same shot converted from color, I find that the one from the camera is a more black and white....if that makes any sense.

It's almost like if the D80 used film, it would be like comparing C-41 processed and TRUE B&W film.
