Baby Caroline - C&C please?

I went to visit a friend who had a baby. I took out my camera and took a few photos. I had NO idea what to do with a newborn. I just aimed for warm, intimate photos. I got several shots and showed the mom. She was over the moon and going to use them for the announcments, which I am proud of. She also asked me to come back in the morning when her older child is home so I can do them togehter.

I would love some C&C and ideas for shooting newborns and also toddlers with newborns. These were all done with natural light and diffused bounce flash.

I think these are brill, my favourites are 5 & 6. I think 3 is lovely aswell, it makes her look tiny which, for a newborn, is always cute in photos.

Well, I am all taken in by the mother's expression in 4. That one may not be announcement card material, since Caroline's face is too little to be seen in 4, but I like the overall atmosphere that Photo 4 has. So much love.
