Great shots, i just tried taking some baby photos with a friend this morning... last second thing and i asked to do it since we were both off today........ Definate learning experiance... and an over all FAIL as far as pictures go... I tried using my 50mm and the room was really to small for it... baby started getting cranky and i think my friend (male) was starting to get frustrated/bored.... so i called it a day rather quick lol

Thanks. It definitely takes patience. I had various times where I was just sitting and waiting for the mom to calm the baby down so we could continue shooting. Having a good handle on lighting definitely helps. I shot most of these up around f/8 with the flash for sharpness and DOF...that way if I missed focus a hair, there's still enough DOF to keep the eyes sharp. Very useful when you might only get a minute or two before she starts crying again.
