Seems ever year we get 2 little baby Sandhills born down by the local lake. Found the nest along the shore but it's to far back to get a close shot.
Here they were all out for a stroll. Guessing they are about a 12 days old at the most. They grow so fast!

Sa-weet!!!! Both the subject matter, and the actual shots. Love how you got it eating a worm (with momma right there watching). And when they stand 'tall' like that, their widdle wings look so teeny.

Look forward to seeing more of these youngsters.

Beautiful shots, I've never seen somthing like this before. What lens did you use?

Fantastic. I only get to see these guys during migration, so I never get to experience this opportunity.

I absolutely love #4 with that pose. I know bokeh is a dead horse, but it is kinda awkward in that shot.

Otherwise, great series....
