I went down the lake park again the other day, and saw this fairly large turtle up off the banks, under a tree. She had dug a hole and was laying eggs... I felt kinda bad about it, but couldn't resist the oppurtunity... I shot off a couple chots before she started to get scared, and I left her alone. Gonna keep going back to check on the eggs.

The patterns and DOF in #1 are great! Not to mention the interesting and appealing composition!

Great find, I look forward to more pictures in this 'series'

I would have loved to, and adjust DOF as well... but I was freaking her out too much... I figured I ought to let her lay her eggs in peace!

awesome shot! Great textures! What did you shoot with? What camera also?

When i was in Mexico, my resort was in for a treat at lowtide one afternoon when a huge mother turtle crawled onto the beach. It was really an amazing thing to see it walking and as it went back into the ocean. It just drifted out
