this is pretty cool. love the b&w and the fact you can't see the faces. sometimes less detail works...at least in this case for me.

Overall I like the composition and perspective, but for some reason the photo just doesn't speak to me. Or maybe I just can't 'hear' it speaking, because it looks like it should be carrying some message.

I like the hard, flat tones used in this image a great deal, though. The only thing that sticks out and detracts is the 'halo' around the subjects.

I think I know what John means.....but I still love it. I love the high contrast and otherworldly, windblown feel here..... it's way cool.

It's a mood piece, for me. Right on with the B&W, Mark. :thumbsup:

My first reaction was to know more and immediately was satisfied with NOT knowing. I see a lot of photos like that and it's always nice that a moment in time can do that.

The extreme contrast blacking out the details in the people adds to the satisfaction of not knowing.
