Went to the zoo today and want to share this series with you.

#1 The conductor is getting ready, while ...

#2 ... one of the dancers is still asleep, the others are warming up, and ...

#3 ... the audience is having fish.

Thanks Mentos! It is kind of my standard frame. The problem is that if the image is resized then the frame gets distorted and doesn't look nice anymore. So probably I should frame the images that I want to show here after resizing and not just take my "finished" version and make it smaller.

Your ballet of the pelicans put my zoo pics sooooo much to shame... Of the few pelican photos I managed to take (the family never waited for me to compose my photos... least of all my husband, he was ALWAYS gone... groan!), I cropped one pelican's beak off, just a fraction, but it bugs me to no end!

Lovely idea to put them up in this kind of collages and frames!!! The story is so funny.

    Tanks all for your remarks!!!!!

Hey LaFoto, your zoo pics ARE great, considering the "tourist's snapper" :) Also, I had lots of time for the pelicans. This was almost the only spot with decent light (the weather ....) and so I spent quite some time there and made lots of photos. I had to fight my camera, though, since the eos300d didn't want to work with my "analogue" zoom lens so that I had to switch it off and on after each shot.

The story above only came in my mind when I saw the results, especially #2 and I thought I had to make up someting here.
