True but there are some things that you can do to make it better for you. Try the timing to get the ball on the bat during a hit. Or panning on a runner going to first. And then the fun one, get the hit, the fielders at 2nd and then 1st as they complete the double play.

I did not think of panning the players running, good point. But the big problem was shooting from the stands with a net behind the plate and fences surrounding the infield so I couldn't get a good position for the action shots.
Maybe I'll stick to lacrosse and soccer - much easier to get action shots!
